Francis Parnis

Dr Francis Parnis graduated with an MBBS from the University of Adelaide in 1985 and completed his specialist training in Adelaide and London. Throughout his career, he has focused on medical oncology, with special interests in prostate cancer and clinical trials. He co-founded the Adelaide Cancer Centre and has played an important role in shaping modern private oncology services in South Australia.  

A strong advocate for the integration of supervised exercise medicine into cancer care, he has supported initiatives through organisations such as Lift Cancer Care Services. Although now retired, Francis remains passionate about the role of exercise in cancer treatment and broader medical care.
