Chronic Disease Management (CDM) is a key aspect of general practice. CDM item number usage can be complex and many GPs are concerned about their usage, often leading to under-billing. In this audit, having attended Medcast Business Skills education sessions, GPs will be asked to reflect on patients with chronic disease, and whether CDM items have been appropriately used for this group. If they have not, what are the barriers and facilitators for using these items to improve patient care and practice sustainability?
