Sensitive approaches to male physical examinations

This eLearning activity emphasises sensitive approaches to male physical examinations, including open conversations, and ensuring patient comfort, dignity and privacy.

The course will benefit general practitioners, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other primary care clinicians; and contribute to earlier disease detection and improved health outcomes for male patients. Participants will learn to initiate respectful conversations, conduct sensitive exams, and provide appropriate education and referrals with confidence.
 
Case studies are featured to enable participants to apply the knowledge they gain and explore the role of a multidisciplinary approach to supporting patients.
