Proud winners of two (2) LearnX Live! Awards 2021

The LearnX Awards is an annual event that recognises innovative workforce learning and supporting technologies. Medcast and Critical Care Education Services have been recognised for our exceptional response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Medcast's work with the Australian Department of Health, the SURGE Critical Care project, was honoured by two awards this year. Through this project the team successfully created a suite of online learning, enrolled 22,000+ nurses across Australia and assisted the health system to prepare for the demand in ICU beds.

Kate is a Director at Medcast, leading education projects and partnerships dedicated to improving healthcare through innovative education. She began her career as an Occupational Therapist and has a Masters in Public Health. Kate worked in healthcare advisory services at KPMG, where she delivered evaluation, clinical redesign, and change-management services to government and NGOs.
