Sarah Watson

Sarah Watson?served in the Australian Army from 1997 to 2015 in the Australian Intelligence Corps. She oversaw international intelligence analysis within a multi-national security agency framework and worked on policies and initiatives to improve inclusion, diversity and workplace culture in order increase the retention and recruitment of women.? Sarah is a service ambassador for Soldier On, speaking about her journey to audiences throughout Australia and engaging with others in the ex-serving community.? Sarah is an Assistant Director with Commemorations at the Department of Veterans Affairs and holds the Contemporary Veteran position on the Department of Defence and Veterans Affairs Human Research Ethics Committee.? Sarah found sport to reinvent herself post military service and has since competed on international sporting stages including the Invictus Games and World Championship events for ironman, cycling and triathlon.? Sarah is also a qualified yoga teacher, teaching trauma informed yoga to other veterans.?
