Dr Seagaitumua Paniani Patu (GP) MBBS BSc, is a General medical practitioner registered under the Medical Board of Australia.
Dr Patu completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree (MBBS) from the University of Papua New Guinea School of Medicine in Papua New Guinea in 1981 and a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc) at Otago University, New Zealand in 1976.
Dr. Patu is of Samoan descent and has been serving the Samoan community as a GP for the past 30 years from medical clinics in Belmore, Mt Druitt, Campsie, Emerton and is currently still practising from his clinic in Blacktown. Dr Patu has also worked in places such as Toowoomba, Alice Springs, Darwin, Tennant Creek, Fairfield, Woy Woy, and Toukley. Dr Patu has also practised medicine in Papua New Guinea, Samoa, American Samoa and New Zealand.
Dr Patu is passionate about serving the Pacific Community here in Australia. He has been an avid supporter of the Samoan community for the past 30 years through sponsoring community events for our people but also giving of his time, skills, mentorship for our pacific community people where it is needed.
Dr Patu has been married to his wife Minerva Patu for 38 years and have 4 adult kids and 6 grandchildren.
