Emma George is the Director of the Centre for Male Health and an Associate Professor in Health and Physical Education at Western Sydney University. Emma joined Western Sydney University in September 2013 and completed a BHSc (PDHPE), BHSc (Honours Class I) and a PhD at Western Sydney University in 2009, 2010 and 2014, respectively.
Emma works with a range of community and industry partners (including the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, the South-Western Sydney Primary Health Network, Rugby Australia, and the Cricket NSW Foundation) to embed her research within the for ongoing, meaningful impacts on health and wellbeing. Emma is passionate about men's health, community engagement and health promotion, and uses sport as a vehicle to engage men in health promotion initiatives.
