James Seddon - BSc MBChB MRCGP MRCEM FHEA
James is a Somerset GP and NB Medical's urgent care lead. He qualified from Warwick in 2011 and then did GP training in Bristol, completing an academic clinical fellowship in medical education and leading on re-designing the 5th year GP curriculum for the University. Having always had an interest in urgent care, he now splits his time between two main roles. He works in both a GP and specialty doctor capacity in a hospital emergency department. He is also Medical Lead for the Somerset Ambulance Doctor Service, attending patients that may be suitable for community treatment but triaged to receive a blue light response. In his 'spare' time he volunteers as a BASICS doctor attending as an enhanced care resource, supporting the ambulance service at serious or complex incidents. James has a young family and enjoys getting out and about in the beautiful Somerset countryside with them.
